Laker were proud to support the Grange Farm Family Day that took place on July 16th with a donation. The Grange Farm Resident Steering Group brought the whole community together on with the “free” Family Fun Day. For the third year running Laker have supported the Narthex Sparkhill Foodbank with a donation of 162.7kg of food, Narthex serve local people in crisis with emergency food, toiletries and household products, as well as supporting them through direct referrals for money and debt advice, carer support, domestic abuse and job searching, or through signposting. Since April, they have distributed almost 1450 emergency food parcels, feeding 3000 people each for three days.Read Full Story
