The RSPCA Birmingham Animal Centre provides vital welfare services for the animals that have been abandoned, neglected and ill-treated in this area. They have successfully found new, loving homes for over 1200 animals in 2010, but this comes at a cost of £8,000 a week.
Increasing pressure on the animal centre’s services has meant that they need to move to a larger site in Frankley Green. It is expected that the Centre will be open to the public in late Summer 2012 and the charity Golf Day is being held to raise funds to support this move.
The Charity Golf Day will be held at Halesowen Golf Club on Thursday 25th August at 12 noon and Laker will be sponsoring the 4th Hole represented by Trudy (pictured above)
We would like to wish all the participants good luck for the day and encourage as many people as possible to support the Charity Golf Day and the excellent work being undertaken every day by the RSPCA Birmingham – http://www.rspca.org.uk
