For the third year running Laker have supported the Narthex Sparkhill Foodbank with a donation of 162.7kg of food, Narthex serve local people in crisis with emergency food, toiletries and household products, as well as supporting them through direct referrals for money and debt advice, carer support, domestic abuse and job searching, or through signposting. Since April, they have distributed almost 1450 emergency food parcels, feeding 3000 people each for three days.
They provide a vital service and are fundamental to the local community in which Laker are proud to provide Repairs and Maintenance services. Thank you to all the staff that contributed.
