Christ Church C.E. Primary School

2010: Laker are proudly supporting Christ Church C.E. Primary School located in the heart of the Midlands.  The school is in the top 25 of the most deprived areas in the Midlands.   Laker are committed to improving the school and surrounding area and is working closely with the school, its staff and pupils to help achieve this.  The school is in the process of implementing some fantastic Community Cohesion based projects.  Such projects will bring 100’s of Schools and their families to work hand in hand at Christ Church - ‘Many people… one Community’.

Some of the future projects include:

- A safe haven youth inclusion centre, run by the Community Police

- An interactive jungle themed learning zone- One of its kind in the U.K on School grounds

- A Saturday soccer school – Ran by Football Futures – that’s up and running

Improving the external look of the school:
May 10: We have now completed painting the fences surrounding Christ Church School. The finished result has enhanced the school’s surroundings and provided a facelift to the immediate environment. Staff, students, parents and visitors are extremely impressed with the difference it has made. “You have all lit a fuse within everyone involved in Christ Church school, and I feel very humbled by all your passion and commitment you have given.
